Yesterday December 10, 2015 the Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to The Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies in Warminster, Wiltshire on behalf of one of her favorite charities, “Action on Addiction.” According to its official website, Action on Addiction is “the only charity working across the addiction field in research, prevention, treatment, professional education, support for families and children and campaigns.” It is one of the first charities that Catherine became patron of after her marriage. Diana, the Princess of Wales also did work with mental health, addiction, and other topics that Kate seems to be interested in supporting.
For the visit Kate wore a houndstooth coat by Reiss, one of her favorite coat designers. Kate seems to be a fan of the pattern as she also recently wore a Ralph Lauren houndstooth shirt dress a few months ago. Here are a few pictures of her in her coat yesterday:
Reiss no longer sells Kate’s coat but they have recently made a very similar style. This coat has a removable self tie waist so you can wear it with or without.

I also found some cool lookalike coats. This coat from ModCloth is currently 25% off so it’s only $75. I think that’s a real bargain for a coat! It’s also really versatile because you can wear the collar up around your neck when it is colder or fold it down depending on your mood. I also like the large buttons.

Finally, I found a beautiful houndstooth belted coat by Calvin Klein. Who doesn’t love Calvin Klein clothes? I have always had really good experiences with this brand and I know that a Calvin Klein coat will be of good quality. Plus, it’s also on sale for a really good price.
