I am a history buff and award winning writer who has decided to combine my love of history, royalty, and fashion into one blog. My website is focused on royal women from all over the world. When I discuss women from the past I focus more on how their choice of clothing shaped their public image and was a reflection of their time period as well as a representation of their personalty. I am particularly interested in British history (especially Tudors, Elizabethan, and Victorian history) but I make a point of writing about great royal women from around the world. When I discuss the fashion of modern royals, my philosophy is that I believe that women should not have to be rich to dress well. My goal is to show pictures of members of royal houses (princesses, duchesses, and queens) from recent events and from the past and to explain what they are wearing and how you can find similar outfits that are more budget friendly (which is why I am the ‘frugal’ lady 🙂 ). This website is a friendly, open minded, and body positive blog that seeks to lift women up and make them feel confident and empowered no matter what your dress size is or how much money you have in the bank. I do not use paparazzi photos on my blog and I do not write in a tabloid-esque or intrusive way. I always write about the subjects of my blog the way I would want someone to write about me if I was in their position: with respect. All pictures are from official events and when a royal lady is pictured working I make a point of discussing her work in addition to what clothing she is wearing. Therefore, there will be times on my blog and on its Facebook page when I will discuss charities and organizations that my favorite royal women work with as my way of helping to bring attention to the work that they do. I am going to have a lot of fun writing these posts and I hope you have as much fun reading them! Feel free to leave as many comments as you like but remember that a lady (or gentleman) is always respectful of others. I monitor what is said in every comment and if there are ‘trolls’ or people who are using profanity, verbal abuse, threats, or anything that is really negative and makes my readers uncomfortable I reserve the right to delete and/or ban these comments and those who write them. But I take pride that 99.9 percent of my readers are good, kind, decent people. I hope you join us!
